Job Opportunity: Labor and Delivery Nurse (Travel/Contract)

Location: Polson, Montana
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Night (3 shifts per week, 12 hours each, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
Facility Type: Critical Access Hospital
Total Beds: 22

Job Description

• Position floats between units based on needs.
• On-call required once per pay period (max PRN).
• Weekend work required every other weekend typically.
• Patient ratios vary: 1:1, 1:2, 1:3, 1:4, 1:6.
• Specialty focus: Labor and Delivery Recovery (LDRP).
• Must be knowledgeable in Labor & Delivery, triage, and Postpartum care.
• Recent experience of 3+ years required; seasoned travelers only.
• 48-hour shifts are not approved.
• Charting system: Epic.
• Scrub color: Any (OR provided).
• Parking: No fee.

Required Qualifications

• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Montana.
• Minimum of 3 years of Labor and Delivery nursing experience, including experience within the last year.
• At least 3 years of total travel nursing experience.
• Experience in Labor Delivery Recovery & Postpartum (LDRP) and Postpartum care.
• Current PALS certification issued by the American Heart Association.
• Current Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification.
• Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN).
