Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) - Temp Position
Location: Rolla, Missouri
Shift: Days
Hours per Day: 8
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Job Description
- Support Occupational Therapist in therapy treatments to improve patients’ mobility and physical health.
- Assist patients with exercises and treatment plans.
- Monitor patient progress to ensure successful completion of treatment.
- Encourage patients during their recovery process.
- Help patients improve quality of life by finding solutions to their problems.
- Assist injured employees in improving motor skills to re-enter the workforce.
- Teach patients with disabilities to become more independent.
- Update patient records for the Occupational Therapist.
- Maintain the office, treatment room, and equipment in good order.
- Educate patients, family members, or caregivers on skills and techniques to support treatment programs.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) experience.
- Experience in Long Term Care (LTC) or Rehabilitation settings.
- Valid PTA license.
