EEG Technician (Temporary) – New Lenox, IL

Job Summary

• Perform, coordinate, and monitor neuroscience testing for inpatient and outpatient populations.
• Interview patients to obtain medical history relevant to electrodiagnostic testing.
• Assess patients using care principles based on growth, development, and age-specific needs.
• Prepare and adjust equipment prior to diagnostic testing tailored to each patient.
• Implement diagnostic tests and procedures according to physician orders.
• Communicate completion of testing and technician impressions to the ordering physician for final reporting.

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 1 year of neurodiagnostic experience.
• Successful completion of training in performing EEG procedures under supervision.
• NICU EEG experience is strongly preferred.
• ABRET certification is preferred.
