Ultrasound Tech/Sonographer - Radiology (Travel)

• 13 weeks

Work Schedule

• 36 hours per week
• 12-hour shifts (day and night)
• Must be willing to work weekends and nights

Unit Information

• 4 ultrasound scanners and 4 tables
• 4 ultrasound techs per shift (day and night)
• Patient ratio: 1:1
• Equipment includes GE 1.5, Discovery 450, X-Ray, MRI, and CT machines
• Electronic Medical Record system: Meditech

Job Description

• Operate ultrasound equipment to create images of internal body structures
• Produce images of bones, organs, and tissues for accurate assessment
• Work independently with critical thinking and flexibility
• Heavy call responsibility

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience as an Ultrasound Technologist, including experience within the last year
• ARRT (S) or ARDMS certification
• BLS certification

Preferred Qualifications

• ACLS certification (not required)
