Ultrasound Tech/Sonographer - Radiology (Travel)
Location
- Atlantis, Florida
Employment Type
- Travel assignment
Contract Length
- 13 weeks
Work Schedule
- 36 hours per week
- 12-hour shifts (day and night)
- Must be willing to work weekends and nights
Unit Information
- 4 ultrasound scanners and 4 tables
- 4 ultrasound techs per shift (day and night)
- Patient ratio: 1:1
- Equipment includes GE 1.5, Discovery 450, X-Ray, MRI, and CT machines
- Electronic Medical Record system: Meditech
Job Description
- Operate ultrasound equipment to create images of internal body structures
- Produce images of bones, organs, and tissues for accurate assessment
- Work independently with critical thinking and flexibility
- Heavy call responsibility
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of experience as an Ultrasound Technologist, including experience within the last year
- ARRT (S) or ARDMS certification
- BLS certification
Preferred Qualifications
- ACLS certification (not required)
