Description
Echo Tech Travel Opportunity
Location: Idaho Falls, Idaho
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM with scheduled call nights and weekends
Hours per Week: 36
Unit Overview
- Work in the Echo department of a large regional medical center with 318 beds.
- Facility includes a Level II Trauma Center, Level 1 ICU, Pediatric ICU, and Behavioral Health Center.
- Patient population ranges from neonatal to geriatric with primarily cardiac-related conditions.
- Procedures involve ultrasound testing on high-acuity patients.
- Exposure to body fluids and blood is common.
- Fast-paced, stat procedure environment requiring stress tolerance.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of Echo Technologist experience, including experience within the last year.
- Current registry or certification in Adult Echo (ARDMS or ARRT).
- BLS certification required.
Work Environment & Expectations
- Must be a team player and flexible.
- Follow assigned unit dress code and maintain a professional appearance.
- Scheduled call includes nights and weekends.
