Description
Registered Nurse (RN) - Operating Room
Location
- Arlington, Texas
Employment Type
- Travel assignment
Contract Length
- 13 weeks
Work Hours
- 36 hours per week
- Must take on-call shifts 4-6 times per month, including holidays
Unit Information
- Operating Room with 10 OR beds
- Staffing needs for both Day and Night shifts (RNs and Techs)
- Focus on orthopedic and trauma cases
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Texas
- Minimum 1 year of Operating Room (OR) experience within the last year
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- ACLS certification
- BLS certification
- Orthopedic and trauma experience
Preferred Qualifications
- Certified Surgical Technologists (CST) with ortho and trauma experience are preferred but not required
Additional Notes
- Candidates without the required perioperative skills and certifications will not be considered
- Weekend and on-call shifts are part of the schedule
- Scrub color/attire and unit policies to be provided on assignment
