Cardiac Cath Lab Tech

Location

• City: Frisco, Texas
• Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7:30 AM - 3:30 PM
• Call: 11-13 days per month including 2 weekends; includes call coverage for 1 winter holiday and 1 summer holiday

• 13 weeks

Job Description

• Work in a cardiac catheterization lab with a small, supportive, and laid-back team
• Department has 2 cath labs, slower paced but with busy days
• Procedures include cardiac caths, TEE/CVNs, pacemaker implants, PVS, EP ablations, PE/DVT thrombectomies, and Lexiscan injections for nuclear medicine stress tests
• Equipment used: Philips, GE, Pyxis, MacLab EMR (Meditech)
• Patient ratio and staffing: 8 staff total including 2 PRN techs and 1 shared RN; night shift has a 3-person on-call team
• Work environment is boutique-style hospital with many nearby amenities and attractions

Required Qualifications

• Valid Cath Lab Technologist license in Texas
• Minimum 3 years of experience as a Cath Lab Technologist, including experience within the last year
• ACLS certification
• BLS certification
• Cath Lab Tech Certification (RCIS accepted)

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with MacLab monitoring (training available)
• Experience circulating EP procedures (training available)
