Description

Occupational Therapist (OT) - Travel Position

Location: Augusta, Georgia
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Hours per Week: 36 hours


Unit & Work Environment

  • Inpatient Rehab Unit with 28 beds
  • Patient caseload: 4-6 patients, treating 3-5 patients daily on average
  • Unit staffing includes 2 therapy techs on weekdays and 1 on weekends
  • Equipment available: hi-low mats, Nustep, II bars, steps, balls, weights, car simulator, Bioness L200 and H300, BITS interactive computer system
  • Documentation system: Meditech
  • Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM (flexible start/end times, 8-hour shifts standard)
  • Weekend coverage: 2 weekends during a 13-week assignment, with 2 weekdays off during those weeks
  • No floating to other units
  • Dress code: Black scrubs and closed shoes

Required Qualifications

  • Valid Occupational Therapist license in Georgia
