Description
Physical Therapist (PT) - Travel Assignment
Location: Augusta, Georgia
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Hours per Week: 36 hours (typically Monday-Friday, 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM with some schedule flexibility)
Unit & Work Environment
- Inpatient Rehabilitation Unit with 28 beds
- Patient caseload: 4-6 patients, treating 3-5 patients daily on average
- Staffing includes 2 therapy techs on weekdays and 1 on weekends
- Equipment available: hi-low mats, Nustep, parallel bars, steps, balls, weights, car simulator, Bioness L200 and H300, BITS interactive computer system
- Documentation system: Meditech
- Schedule includes 2 weekends during a 13-week rotation, with 2 weekdays off during those weeks
- No floating to other units
- Dress code: Black scrubs and closed shoes
Required Qualifications
- Valid Physical Therapist license in Georgia
- Minimum 1 year of Physical Therapist experience, including experience within the last year
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- De-escalation Skills - Healthcare Setting
- Experience in inpatient rehabilitation
- Completion of an assessment of physical therapy skills or education on managing hazardous drug risks according to USP 800 standards
