Description

Physical Therapist (Travel)

Location: Independence, Missouri

Job Details

Employment Type: Travel
Contract Length: 12 weeks
Hours per Week: 36 (5 days/week, 8-hour shifts, Monday-Friday)
Schedule: 0800-1630, 1 weekend every 6 weeks (flexibility to swap days if working weekend)
Unit: Physical Therapy (Acute care and inpatient rehab)
Patient Ratios: Acute care 12:1, Rehab 4-5:1
Floating: May cover both acute and rehab units
Documentation System: Meditech
Equipment: Safe patient handling and standard rehab equipment
Dress Code: Eggplant colored scrubs

Required Qualifications

Valid Physical Therapist license in Missouri
Minimum 2 years of Physical Therapist experience, including experience within the last year
BLS certification
Experience in a Rehabilitation setting
HHCCA - De-escalation Skills - Healthcare Setting
