Registered Nurse - ICU (Travel)

Location: Bowling Green, Kentucky
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Hours per Week: 36

Unit Information

• Unit: ICU/CCU
• Number of Beds: 16
• Patient Ratios: Typically 2:1, occasionally 3:1
• Staffing: Medical Technicians regularly; additional techs depending on census
• Equipment Used: Impella, GE monitors, Temporary Pacemakers, EKOS, IABP, Artic Sun, Hemodynamic monitoring
• Documentation System: Meditech
• Floating Policy: Float in rotation with core staffing
• Scheduling: Flexible scheduling options with a teamwork environment; mix of day and night shifts

Required Qualifications

• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Kentucky
• Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
• Minimum 2 years of ICU (Intensive Care Unit) experience, including experience within the last year
• Certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS, and NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification required
• Experience with central line insertions and dialysis catheter insertions
