Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) - Inpatient (Days)
Location: Lawton, Oklahoma
Employment Type: Temporary
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Job Description
- Provide occupational therapy assistance on the inpatient rehab unit or acute care unit.
- Rehab unit averages 12 patients.
- Opportunities for co-treatment with Physical Therapy Assistants (PTA) in acute care.
- Day shift schedule.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Occupational Therapist Assistant license in Oklahoma
- Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant, including experience within the last year
- NBCOT certification
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification issued by the American Heart Association
Preferred Qualifications
- Recent travel experience preferred but not required.
Additional Information
- Orientation for Allied and Therapy travelers starts on Tuesdays.
- On-call pay is $2 per hour with a 1-hour minimum.
- Applicants living within 50 miles of the facility may be considered at a reduced rate.
- Scrub color required: Red.
