MRI Tech - Radiology (Travel)

Location: Fort Pierce, Florida
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Hours per Week: 36

Unit Information

• MRI Unit with 1 MRI scanner and 1 table
• Staffing: 2 MRI Techs per shift (day and night), 12-hour shifts
• Patient ratio: 1:1
• Equipment: GE 1.5T Discovery 450
• EMR system: Meditech

Job Description

• Perform MRI scans producing detailed images of internal body structures
• No use of X-rays involved
• Work independently is required
• Must be adaptable, flexible, and willing to work nights and weekends
• No on-call responsibilities

Required Qualifications

• MRI Technologist with a minimum of 2 years of experience, including experience within the last year
• ARRT (MR) Certification
• BLS Certification
• De-escalation skills in a healthcare setting

Preferred Qualifications

• ACLS Certification (not required)

Work Environment & Dress Code

• Scrubs: All black
• Critical thinking and flexibility are essential personality traits
