Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience in an ER setting
• Current Indiana or compact RN license
• BLS (AHA only)
• ACLS (AHA only)
• PALS certification
• ENPC (Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course)
• TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course)

Job Details

• Shift: Evenings
• Hours: 12-hour shifts, 3 shifts per week (36 hours/week)
• Schedule includes every other weekend and holiday coverage
• No floating to other units
• Nurse-to-patient ratio: 1 nurse to 4 patients
• Unit size: 15 beds
• Dress code: Caribbean Blue scrubs

Job Responsibilities

• Emergency Department triage and prioritization
• Perform emergent life-saving interventions
• Care for patients of all ages
• Use of equipment including Cerner electronic charting, cardiac monitors, medication selection systems, and basic life-saving equipment

Orientation and Training

• 8 hours of non-billable orientation
• Orientation includes facility-specific and Cerner system training
• Orientation hours: 3pm - 3am

Additional Notes

• Facility accepts local travelers within 50 miles with a rate reduction (not included here)
• Client may cancel or call off up to 24 hours before the start of the assignment per 13-week contract
