Radiologic Technologist – Interventional Radiology
Location: Houston, Texas
Employment Type: Travel
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Hours per Week: 36
Unit Information
- Department: Radiology, Interventional Radiology (IR) Floor
- EMR System: Meditech Expanse
- Current Staff: 1 nurse on unit
- Typical Day Shift Staffing Example: 1 charge nurse, 3 RNs, 2 CNAs, 1-3 sitters (7:30 AM – 5:00 PM)
- Typical Procedures: Biopsy, ablations, paracentesis, thoracentesis
Required Qualifications
- Valid Interventional Radiology Technologist license in Texas
- Minimum 1 year of recent experience as an Interventional Radiology Technologist
- ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
- De-escalation skills in a healthcare setting
