ICU Registered Nurse (Travel/Contract) - Columbus, Ohio
Job Summary
- Position: ICU Registered Nurse (Critical Care Float Pool)
- Employment Type: Travel/Contract
- Location: Columbus, Ohio
- Shift: Day shifts, primarily weekends (3 shifts per week, 12 hours each, 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM)
- Contract Length: 13 weeks
- Float Pool: Nurses will float to various ICUs based on staffing and patient acuity, including Neuro ICU, Surgical ICUs, Medical ICUs (MICU), Cardiology/Diagnostics, CVICU, SICU, NCCU.
- Float Policy: Must float within units of equivalent or lower acuity.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Ohio.
- Minimum 2 years of ICU (Intensive Care Unit) experience, including experience within the last year.
- Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN).
- Certifications:
- BLS (Basic Life Support) issued by the American Heart Association.
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support).
- NIHSS (National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale).
- Clinical skills:
- Ventilator management experience.
- Proficiency with Epic electronic health record system.
