Interventional Radiology Travel/Contract Job – Seattle, Washington
Job Overview
- Specialty: Radiology / Cardiology (Interventional Radiology Tech)
- Location: Seattle, WA
- Employment Type: Travel/Contract
- Contract Length: 13 weeks
- Schedule: 4 days per week, 10-hour shifts (7:00 AM – 5:30 PM)
- Call Requirement: Once a week overnight call, every 5th or 6th weekend
- Patient Mix: Approximately 50% inpatient / 50% outpatient
- Patient Diagnoses: Biopsies, GI, GU/Renal, Peripheral Vascular, Pulmonary, CT, Endovascular Lab, Stent Placement
- Unit Skills Required:
- Y-90 chemo delivery
- GI bleeds management
- TPA administration
- Vein sampling
- Phase 2 recovery care
- Medication System: Pyxis
- Documentation System: EPIC
Required Qualifications
- Valid Interventional Radiology Technologist license in Washington
- Minimum 1 year of Interventional Radiology Technologist experience within the last year
- ACLS (American Heart Association or Canadian Heart & Stroke Foundation)
- BLS (American Heart Association or Canadian Heart & Stroke Foundation)
- Experience with Y-90 chemo delivery
- Experience with TPA administration
- Experience with vein sampling
- Experience with Phase 2 recovery care
Background and Compliance Requirements
- Background check within 90 days of start, covering all locations lived/worked in the past 7 years; must be updated annually
- State-specific searches and verifications as required by Washington State law
- Education verification required
- Drug screening: 9-panel drug screen within 12 months of start
- Physical exam within 1 year of start, signed by MD, NP, PA, or DO, indicating ability to work with or without accommodation
- Immunizations and health requirements:
- TDAP vaccine within 10 years (declination accepted)
- Negative TB test or chest X-ray within 12 months, updated annually
- MMR (Measles, Mumps, Rubella) vaccination or positive titer with acceptable alternatives
- Hepatitis B vaccination or signed declination
- Varicella vaccination or positive titer with acceptable alternatives
- Seasonal flu vaccine during flu season (declination accepted)
- COVID vaccination record preferred (declinations not required)
- Respiratory safety clearance required annually for respirator use
- Fit mask test required for travel candidates, updated annually
Additional Requirements
- Must comply with float policy: may be required to float to other nearby facilities within the health system
- Completion of annual regulatory and specialty-specific training modules via assigned LMS platform
- Skills checklist required annually for applicable units
- Medication/pharmacology competency exams as applicable
- Color blindness testing may be required on a unit-by-unit basis
- Radiation badge issued by facility if applicable

- Candidates previously employed permanently by any affiliated facility must have a minimum 3-month separation before qualifying for this travel position
