Job Description

• Position requires 1 year of experience as a first-time travel Radiology/Cardiology professional.
• Must be able to perform fluoroscopy and operate C-ARM equipment.
• Electrophysiology (EP) experience is preferred but not required.
• The position does not float between units.
• No on-call, weekend, or block schedule requirements.
• Expected patient ratio is 1:1.
• Facility type: Short Term Acute Care with 536 staffed beds.
• Charting system used: Epic.
• Parking is free.
• Scrub color: Any color allowed; OR/Cath Lab scrubs are provided.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience as a Cath Lab Radiology Technologist within the last year.
• Experience as an X-Ray Technician.
• Current and valid license as an X-Ray Technologist (Radiologic Technologist).
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) certification (AHA or Canadian Heart & Stroke Foundation).
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification (AHA or Canadian Heart & Stroke Foundation).
• Ability to perform fluoroscopy and operate C-ARM equipment.
• References: Minimum of 2 references covering 1 year of employment in a comparable specialty/setting within the last 3 years.
• Employment application covering at least the last 5 years of employment with month/year format for dates.

Health and Safety Requirements

• Physical exam within 1 year of start, signed by MD, NP, PA, or DO, confirming ability to work with or without accommodation.
• Fit mask test (respirator fit testing) required for travel candidates, updated annually.
• Immunizations and screenings required:

  • TDAP vaccine within 10 years (declination accepted).
  • Negative TB test or chest X-ray within 12 months (annual updates required).
  • MMR (Measles, Mumps, Rubella) vaccination or positive titer.
  • Hepatitis B vaccination or signed declination.
  • Varicella vaccination or positive titer.
  • Seasonal flu vaccine during flu season (declination accepted).
  • COVID vaccination record preferred; declinations accepted.
• Drug screening: 9-panel drug screen within 12 months of start (instant acceptable).
• Respiratory safety clearance required annually for travel candidates.

Background and Compliance

• Background check within 90 days of start covering all locations lived/worked in the past 7 years; must be updated annually.
• Education verification required.
• State-specific background checks as applicable.
• Work history verification may be required if reference exceptions are requested.
• Photo for badge required (passport style with neutral background).
• Completion of annual regulatory and specialty-specific training modules via LMS (Workramp).
• Epic training modules required prior to or shortly after orientation.
