Job Opportunity: Polysomnographer / Sleep Tech
Location

Work Schedule
- Night shift, 3 shifts per week, 12 hours each (18:30 to 7:00)
- Weekend work required (Friday night shift extends into Saturday morning)
- Block schedules required
- No on-call required
- No floating between units
- Expected patient ratio: 2:1

Required Qualifications
- Valid Polysomnographer license in Oregon
- Minimum of 1 year of Polysomnographer experience
- Polysomnographer experience within the last year
Licensure
- Must hold a valid state license for Polysomnography/Sleep Tech practice
- NURSYS verification required if applicable
Background and Compliance Requirements
- Government-issued photo ID (Driver’s License or State ID)
- Social Security Card (as applicable)
- E-Verify attestation required
- Background check within 90 days covering all locations lived/worked in past 7 years; must be updated annually
- EPLS/GSA/SAM and HHS/OIG checks required within 30 days of start, updated monthly
- Education verification required
- State-specific searches as applicable
- References: Minimum 2 references covering 1 year of employment within last 3 years in comparable specialty/setting
- Employment application covering at least last 5 years of employment with month/year format
Health and Safety Requirements
- Physical exam within 1 year of start, signed by MD, NP, PA, or DO
- Fit mask test (respirator clearance) required for travel candidates, updated annually
- Immunizations and documentation required:
- Tetanus/Diphtheria/Tdap (within 10 years; declination accepted)
- Negative TB test or chest X-ray within 12 months, updated annually
- Measles (Rubeola), Mumps, Rubella: 2 MMR vaccines or positive titer; declination accepted
- Hepatitis B vaccination or signed declination
- Varicella vaccination or positive titer; declination accepted
- Seasonal flu vaccine during flu season (declination accepted)
- COVID vaccination record preferred; declinations not required but unvaccinated must follow masking policies
- Drug screening: 9-panel drug screen within 12 months of start; instants acceptable
Orientation and Training
- Reduced non-billable orientation: 0 hours (standard is 40 hours)
- Annual regulatory and specialty-specific training modules required via LMS (Workramp)
- Epic training modules required prior to or shortly after start
Additional Notes
- No floating between units
- No 48-hour shifts approved
- Scrub color: Any for RN/Allied; scrubs provided for OR, Critical Care, ED, PACU, and Maternal Child units
- Case managers dress business casual
