Job Opportunity: Operating Room Registered Nurse

Location: Walla Walla, Washington
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks


Job Description

  • Position: Operating Room (OR) Registered Nurse (RN)
  • Shift: Day shifts, 5 days a week, 8 hours per day
    • Shift options: 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM or 11:30 AM – 7:30 PM
  • Float: No floating between units
  • On-call: Yes, 1 weeknight per week and 1 weekend every 6 weeks (call only)
  • Patient Ratios: 1:1
  • Call-back time: 20 minutes, must remain within call-back area when on call
  • Primary services include General Surgery, Orthopedics, Neurosurgery, Gynecology, Obstetrics (C-section), ENT, Plastics, Vascular, and Ophthalmology
  • Shift length: 8 hours, variable start times as above
  • No 48-hour shifts approved
  • Scrub color: Any color allowed
  • Charting system: Epic
  • Parking: No fee

Required Qualifications

  • Valid RN license in Washington
  • Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
  • Minimum 1 year of Operating Room (OR) experience within the last year
  • One completed travel assignment
  • BLS certification issued by the American Heart Association
  • NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification
