Job Opportunity: ER Registered Nurse (Day Shift)
Location: Hilo, Hawaii
Employment Type: Contract (13 weeks)
Job Description
- Work in a 28-bed Emergency Room department including:
- 4 trauma bays
- 2 behavioral health rooms
- 22 cardiac monitor rooms
- Fast-paced environment with rapid patient turnover
- Team-oriented setting
- Schedule: Day shift, 3 shifts per week, 12 hours each (36 hours weekly)
- No guarantee of hours
Required Qualifications
- Valid Registered Nurse license in Hawaii
- Minimum 2 years of Emergency Department (ED) nursing experience, including experience within the last year
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification
- Associate of Science in Nursing or Associate Degree in Nursing
Preferred Certifications (Not Required)
- Procedural Sedation
- TMCC
- EMPC
Additional Information
- Must arrive the Thursday before the assignment start date for an employee health appointment on Friday
- Candidates should only accept the start date if they can arrive on time for this appointment
