Description

Registered Nurse – Ortho Bone & Joint

Location: Herrin, Illinois
Employment Type: Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Night (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM)
Hours per Week: 36

Job Description

Work primarily on Ortho and North Surgical units
Registered Nurse responsibilities including patient care and clinical duties
Every other weekend required
Possibility of floating to other Medical-Surgical departments as needed
Floating assignments must be within scope of practice, licensure, and demonstrated competencies

Required Certifications

Basic Life Support (BLS)
National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS)
Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)

Additional Information

Night shift position
Floating may be required to clinically appropriate units within scope and competencies

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Illinois
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Minimum 2 years of orthopedics nursing experience, including experience within the last year
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification
