Description
Audiologist Travel/Contract Position
Location: Sunnyside, Washington
Shift: Night (3 shifts per week, 12 hours each, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Job Summary
- Provide audiology services in a healthcare setting.
- Requires 2 years of experience in the specialty.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Audiologist license in Washington State.
- Minimum of 2 years of audiology experience, including experience within the last year.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
Certifications & Training
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (AHA or ARC accepted).
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), Neonatal Resuscitation Procedure (NRP), Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC), Electronic Fetal Monitoring (EFM), STABLE, and ProAct certifications are not required for this role (listed for other disciplines).
Health & Compliance Requirements
- Physical exam with physician’s statement within 1 year of start. Latex allergies must be disclosed.
- Fit testing for N95 mask performed onsite (not required for this role).
- Tetanus/Diphtheria/Tdap vaccine or signed declination required.
- Negative TB test (QGold or T-SPOT) within 30 days of start; chest X-ray if positive test history. TB questionnaire required annually.
- Immunity or vaccination documentation required for:
- Measles (Rubeola)
- Mumps
- Rubella
- Hepatitis B
- Varicella (Chickenpox)
- 12-panel drug screen within 30 days of start (no instant tests accepted).
- Seasonal flu vaccination or signed declination required by November 1; decliners must wear a mask while on shift.
Additional Facility Requirements
- Photo for badge (headshot, shoulders up, plain white background).
- Completion of Code of Conduct Acknowledgement and Confidentiality Agreements prior to start.
- Completion of new employee orientation and onboarding documents within specified timeframes.
- Background checks and verifications must be completed within 30 days of start date.
Work Hours
- 36 hours per week, scheduled as three 12-hour night shifts.
