Radiologic Technologist (Diagnostic Imaging) - Contract
Location: Dillon, Colorado
Contract Length: 9 weeks
Shift: Days, 3 shifts per week, 10-hour shifts (total 24 hours/week)
Employment Type: Contract
Job Summary
- Perform all radiographic examinations according to established protocols.
- Maintain effective communication with patients, families, physicians, and healthcare team members to support continuity of care.
- Adhere to department policies, confidentiality, quality assurance, safety, radiation protection, infection control, and universal precautions.
- Verify patient identity and exam orders for accuracy and consistency with clinical diagnosis.
- Utilize hospital information systems and PACS for quality patient documentation.
- Uphold principles of Just Culture and organizational values.
- Must be HIPAA compliant.
Required Qualifications
- Certification: American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) required.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
- Minimum of 1 year of radiologic technologist experience within the last year.
Patient Population
- Neonatal/Infant (0-11 months)
- Pediatrics (1-12 years)
- Adolescents (13-17 years)
- Young Adult/Adult (18-64 years)
- Middle-aged Adult (65-79 years)
- Geriatric (80+ years)
Additional Information
- CAPS registration required for Colorado work authorization (may take up to two weeks to obtain).
- Out-of-state agencies must register appropriately to comply with state requirements.
This position is ideal for a radiologic technologist seeking a short-term contract with a focus on diagnostic imaging in a collaborative healthcare environment.
