MRI Technologist - Overnight Shift

Location: Salem, Massachusetts
Employment Type: Long-Term Assignment (13 weeks)
Shift: Wednesday through Friday, 10:30 PM to 7:00 AM; Saturday overnight 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM
Unit: Radiology – MRI Tech
Work Setting: Rotating coverage between two sites (Outpatient imaging center and hospital)
Bed Count: 371

Job Description

• Perform MRI technologist duties primarily during overnight shifts.
• Rotate between two sites for coverage.
• Required to float and work rotating shifts including holiday coverage.
• Use Siemens MRI scanners.
• Utilize EPIC for electronic medical records/charting.
• Phlebotomy skills and proficiency with Outlook required.
• Strong interpersonal skills necessary.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of MRI technologist experience, including experience within the last year.
• Certification: ARRT or ARMRIT.
• BLS certification issued by the American Heart Association or Red Cross.
• Phlebotomy experience.

Additional Information

• Positive TB skin test requires documentation of a negative chest x-ray.
• No religious or medical exemptions allowed for fit testing.
• Fit testing cannot be performed onsite; must be completed prior to start.
• Rotating holiday coverage is required.
• Floating between sites is required.
