Job Opportunity: Interventional Radiology Tech (Travel/Contract)

Job Details
- Employment Type: Travel/Contract
- Contract Length: 13 weeks
- Shift: Day shift, 4 days per week, 10 hours per day (7:00 AM - 5:30 PM)
- Facility Type: Short Term Acute Care
- Department: Fast-paced Interventional Radiology supporting Vascular Surgeons and Interventional Radiologists
- Equipment: Philips rooms (including one biplane) and one GE Hybrid room
- Charting System: EPIC
Required Qualifications
- Valid Interventional Radiology Technologist license in Washington
- Minimum 1 year of Interventional Radiology Technologist experience within the last year
- ARRT (R) certification required
- BLS certification required (AHA or Canadian Heart & Stroke Foundation)
- Local candidates residing within 50 miles of the facility are not eligible for this travel contract
Background and Compliance Requirements
- Government-issued photo ID (Driver’s License or State ID)
- Social Security Card (as applicable)
- Background Check within 90 days covering all locations lived/worked in past 7 years; must be updated annually
- EPLS/GSA/SAM and HHS/OIG checks required within 30 days of start, updated monthly
- Education Verification required for all candidates
- WA State Patrol Search required within 90 days of start for Washington placements
- References: Minimum 2 references covering 1 year of employment in a comparable specialty/setting within the last 3 years
- Employment Application covering at least last 5 years of employment
Health and Safety Requirements
- Physical Exam within 1 year of start, signed by MD, NP, PA, or DO, confirming ability to work
- Fit Mask test required for travel candidates (updated annually)
- Immunizations/Vaccinations:
- TDAP within 10 years (declination accepted)
- Negative TB test or chest X-ray within 12 months (annual updates required)
- MMR (Measles, Mumps, Rubella) vaccination or positive titer
- Hepatitis B vaccination or signed declination
- Varicella vaccination or positive titer
- Seasonal Flu vaccine during flu season (declination accepted)
- COVID vaccination record preferred; declinations accepted with adherence to masking policies
- Drug Screening: 9 Panel Drug Screen within 12 months of start (instant acceptable)
Training and Competency
- Annual completion of regulatory and specialty-specific training modules via LMS (Workramp)
- Medication Test/Pharmacology Competency Exam as applicable
- Competency exams required by specialty
- Epic training modules required for EPIC charting system users
Additional Notes
- All requested Return to Office (RTO) restrictions must be included in submission
- Float Policy: May be required to float to other nearby facilities within reasonable distance
- Radiation badges issued by facility as applicable
- Prior travel experience is not required for this position
