Description

Registered Nurse (RN) - Intermediate Care Unit (IMCU)

Location: La Porte, Indiana
Employment Type: Travel
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Description

Work in a fast-paced Intermediate Care Unit with 30 beds
Patient ratio: 4 or 5 patients per nurse
Shift: Days, 6:45 AM to 7:15 PM
No on-call requirements
Floating required; may need to float to Med/Surg units
Scrub color: Navy blue
EMR system: Cerner experience preferred but not required

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Indiana
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Minimum 1 year of Intermediate Care experience within the last year
Minimum 1 year of Critical Care experience
ACLS certification
BLS certification

Additional Information

Two-week cancellation notice with no penalty
No block scheduling option
Approved orientation dates depend on years of experience
