Description

Emergency Department RN - Illinois, Clinton

Job Type

Contract position
Contract length: 8 weeks
Night shift: 6:30pm - 7:00am, every Saturday, Sunday, and Monday
Hours per week: 36

Job Description

Provide direct and indirect patient care in the Emergency Department
Evaluate patient outcomes and consult with specialists and ancillary departments as needed
Adjust nursing care processes to ensure optimal patient care and flow through the ER
Address psychosocial, physical, and general care needs of patients
Communicate effectively with patients, families, and ED physicians regarding patient status, symptoms, and diagnostic results
Respond quickly and accurately to changes in patient condition or treatment response

Required Qualifications

Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Illinois
Minimum of 1 year of Emergency Department (ED) experience, with recent ED experience within the last year
Certifications required: BLS, ACLS, and PALS
Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
