Physical Therapist (Travel)

Location: Franklin, North Carolina
Employment Type: Travel
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Facility Overview

• New 30-bed critical access hospital with:

  • Three operating rooms
  • Dedicated endoscopy and radiology spaces
  • 17-bed emergency department including two trauma bays
• Outpatient services include wound clinic, full laboratory, digital mammography, CT, MRI, nuclear medicine, and therapy services (physical, occupational, speech)
• Recognized as an Acute Stroke Ready hospital with multiple stroke and diabetes care honors

Job Details

• Specialty: Physical Therapy (Mixed patient population)
• Work hours: 36 hours per week
• Patient scheduling:

  • No double booking or overlapping patients
  • 60-minute evaluations
  • 40-minute follow-up sessions
• Clinicians are not responsible for scheduling or insurance operations
• Productivity goal: 70% (2.7 units per hour, with evaluations weighted by complexity)
• Manager available on site
• EMR system: NetHealth/Redoc

Required Qualifications

• Valid Physical Therapist license in North Carolina
• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Physical Therapist, including experience within the last year
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association
• HHCCA - De-escalation Skills - Healthcare Setting
