Cardiac Cath Lab Tech
Location: Tucson, Arizona
Employment Type: Travel
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Days, 4/10-hour shifts (6:00 AM – 4:30 PM)
On Call: 9-10 shifts per month including 1 weekend
Hours per Week: 36
Job Description
- Perform duties as a Cardio-Vascular Radiologic Technologist in the Cath Lab.
- Responsibilities include scrubbing and monitoring during invasive radiological procedures.
- Utilize sterile technique and scrub for procedures such as angiogram, PCI, complex cases (CTO, L main, PFO, device implant, PE thrombectomy, IR cases, Peripheral).
- STEMI coverage is required.
- Experience with Impella and IABP devices expected.
- Monitor and record on MacLab system; training on MacLab use will be provided.
- Maintain knowledge of products and restock procedure rooms as needed.
- Scrub attire: any solid color.
- Electronic Medical Record system used: Cerner.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Cath Lab Radiology Technologist, with experience within the last year.
- ARRT certification required.
- STEMI coverage experience required.
- Prior Cath Lab Technologist experience.
