Job Opportunity: Emergency Room Registered Nurse (Travel/Contract)
Location
- Easton, Maryland
Contract Details
- Length: 13 weeks
- Start Date: July 13, 2026
- Shift: Rotating Night/Evening shifts (primarily night)
- Hours: 36 hours per week (3x12 or 4x12 shifts accepted)
- Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
- Holidays: Required as scheduled
- Floating: Within specialty and sister ED facilities as needed
- On-Call: No pre-scheduled on-call shifts required
Job Description
- Fast-paced Emergency Department setting with complex diagnoses across all patient age ranges (infant to geriatric)
- Patient-to-nurse ratio typically 1:4, can be up to 1:5 with lower acuity patients
- Rotating shifts based on department needs, primarily night shift coverage
Required Qualifications
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Maryland
- Minimum 2 years of Emergency Department (ED) experience, including experience within the last year
- Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
- Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications issued by the American Heart Association
- NRP certification
- NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification
