Description
Physical Therapist (Travel) - Texas, Jacksonville
Job Summary
- Provide physical therapy care for outpatient populations including orthopedic, balance, deconditioned, and pain patients.
- Responsible for assessing, planning, evaluating, and implementing physical therapy interventions.
- Adhere to all standards of the Physical Therapy Practice Act.
- Independently assess all assigned patient types and exercise good judgment in clinical decision-making.
- Regularly reassess patient progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly.
- Identify and recommend appropriate equipment to patients and families.
Work Schedule
- Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
- Full-time travel position
- Contract length: 13 weeks
- Start date: ASAP
- Temp-to-perm possibility
Required Qualifications
- Valid Physical Therapist license in Texas
- Minimum 1 year of Physical Therapist experience within the last year
- Bachelor's degree
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association
Patient Population
- Normal outpatient types including orthopedic, balance, deconditioned, and pain patients
- Outpatient experience highly preferred
