Description

Registered Nurse (RN) - Operating Room (OR)

Location: Savannah, Georgia
Employment Type: Travel
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Unit & Work Environment

Unit: Operating Room with 30 OR beds
Patient Ratio: 1:1
Team includes OR RNs, Surgical Techs, OR Care Techs, Schedulers, Anesthesia Techs
Equipment: Various OR equipment used
Documentation System: Epic
Shift: Night Shift, Block Schedule, No Call, No Weekends
Floating Policy: No float
Dress Code: Navy scrubs, home laundered

Required Qualifications

Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Georgia
Minimum 2 years of Operating Room (OR) experience, including experience within the last year
Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Experience working with Level I or Level II Trauma patients
De-escalation skills in a healthcare setting

Procedures & Responsibilities

Perform circulating nurse duties across all surgical service lines
Manage incoming trauma cases in the OR

Additional Information

Facility is a large regional hospital with a Level I trauma center and children’s hospital
