MRI Technologist - Garner, NC

Job Summary

• Responsible for patient safety and performing high-quality MRI studies, including advanced imaging areas.
• Communicates effectively with patients and radiologists.
• May train new technologists and patient coordinators.
• Troubleshoots MRI scanner and related equipment to prevent downtime and delays in patient care.

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; Associate's Degree or equivalent experience preferred.
• ARRT (R) certification required; ARRT (MR) preferred.
• Venipuncture Certification required.
• BLS CPR Certification through the American Heart Association required.
• Valid state driver’s license and state license as applicable.
• Minimum of 1-2 years of MRI experience in high-volume environments preferred.
• Technical proficiency with GE 1.5T or other vendor MRI scanners.
• Ability to independently run advanced MRI studies.
• Strong patient care skills with ability to explain procedures clearly.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and manage customer interactions.
• Local travel may be required.
