Description

Surgical Technologist

Location: Decorah, Iowa
Employment Type: Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks minimum
Schedule:

Primarily 8-hour shifts, Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM (may start as early as 6:00 AM depending on surgery caseload)
On-call rotation approximately 1 night every 2 weeks
On-call every 5th to 6th weekend
Holiday on-call rotation included
Approximately 36 hours per week

Job Responsibilities / Experience

Must be experienced in the following surgical areas:
- General Surgery
- Orthopedics
- ENT
- OBGYN
- Podiatry
- Urology
- Dental

Required Qualifications

Surgical Technologist with at least 1 year of experience, including experience within the last year
Completion of an accredited Surgical Technologist program
NBSTSA (National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting) certification
American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Must remain within 30 minutes of the facility when on-call

Prior travel experience is not specified as required.
This is a full-time contract position.
