Description

Clinical Neurophysiology Technologist I

Assignment Details

  • Rochester, Minnesota
  • 13-week assignment
  • 40 hours per week
  • Shifts include 12-hour weekend shifts and 8-hour weekday shifts

Role Overview

  • Performs EEG, evoked potentials, autonomic studies, and nerve conduction studies
  • Supports patients in inpatient settings, including the Epilepsy Monitoring Unit
  • Responsible for patient preparation, data acquisition, and maintaining a safe testing environment
  • May monitor EEG recordings, respond to seizures, troubleshoot equipment, assist with SPECT injections, and provide shift reports
  • Acts as a liaison between nurses and physicians and may mentor student technologists

Required Qualifications

  • EEG Technologist experience within the last year
  • 1 year of EEG Technologist experience
  • Current Basic Life Support certification
  • Registered Neurodiagnostic Technologist
  • EEG Registry or CLTM Registry
  • Associate's degree in Applied Science or related science
