Medical Lab Scientist - Travel/Contract Position

Location: Hillsboro, Kansas
Assignment Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Day shift, 5 days a week (8:00 AM – 4:30 PM), occasional on-call
Hours per Week: 40 hours

Job Summary

Seeking a Medical Lab Scientist for a travel assignment in a laboratory setting. The role involves working standard day shifts with occasional call duties.

Required Qualifications

• Medical Lab Scientist with a minimum of 1 year of experience
• Medical Lab Scientist experience within the last year
• Completion of at least one travel assignment
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association or American Red Cross

Compliance and Documentation

• Must provide unexpired government-issued photo ID (Driver’s License or State ID)
• Complete facility-specific forms and acknowledgments including confidentiality, HIPAA, computer use, and safety manual acknowledgment within 48 hours of contract signing
• Provide 2 professional references from within the last 3 years
• Complete skills checklist as required

Additional Notes

• Only one shift available; blocked scheduling is not permitted
• Prior travel experience is required; candidates must have completed at least one full travel contract (4 assignments of 13 weeks each) to be considered
