Description
Mammography Tech - Travel/Contract
Location: Dayton, Ohio
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Job Details
- Shift: Day shift, 4x10 hours (10:30 AM - 9:00 PM)
- No weekends or on-call required
- Must be available to work every other holiday
- Experience required: Minimum 1 year in specialty
- Experience in both inpatient and outpatient settings required
- Prior travel experience not required; first-time travelers accepted
- EPIC experience required
Required Qualifications
- Valid Mammography Technologist license in Ohio
- Mammography Technologist with at least 1 year of experience, including experience within the last year
- BLS certification
- ARRT Radiography (ARRT R) certification
- Experience in inpatient and outpatient settings
- Experience with Epic electronic health record system

Compliance & Documentation Requirements
- Government-issued photo ID (Driver’s License or State ID)
- E-Verify completed prior to start
- 7-year criminal background check (including SSN trace, national and county checks, sex offender registry) within 12 months of start
- Education verification (primary source)
- Physical exam within 2 years, indicating fitness to work and free of communicable diseases
- Negative TB test or chest x-ray documentation; annual TB questionnaire if past positive
- Required immunizations or proof of immunity: Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella, Hepatitis B (vaccination series, immune titer, or declination)
- Drug screening: Negative 9 or 10 panel drug screen within 12 months, including marijuana panel; lab confirmation required if instant screen positive
- Seasonal flu vaccination or approved medical/religious exemption required during flu season
- Respiratory safety clearance within 1 year, renewed annually
- Skills checklist updated within 1 year prior to documentation due date
- Medication/pharmacology competency exam within 2 years
- References: 2 professional references within 2 years (1 must be manager/supervisor/charge RN) or employment verification if references unavailable
- Current resume/application required
Additional Notes
- The site is screening only
- The employer reserves the right to cancel up to 2 shifts per 13-week contract due to low census
- The employer may cancel the agreement with 2 weeks’ notice without penalty
- Travelers are not eligible for employee incentives
- Return to Offer (RTO) requests must be submitted with initial application; no RTO added after offer
- RTO approval is at manager’s discretion
This position is ideal for Mammography Technologists with at least 1 year of experience, who are registered and licensed in Ohio, and who have completed required mammography-specific continuing education and certifications.
