Radiologic Technologist – General Imaging

Job Type

• Contractor
• Part-time, approximately 16 hours per week
• Contract length: 12 weeks

Work Schedule

• 8-hour day shifts, start time between 6:30 AM and 8:00 AM
• Weekend rotation every 3rd weekend (schedule may vary)
• No on-call duties
• Holiday shifts assigned based on needs
• Scheduling done in 8-week periods, with 1-2 weeks’ notice
• Opportunity to work additional shifts beyond contracted hours if desired

• Small community hospital setting
• Open 24/7/365
• Patient types include inpatient, outpatient, emergency department, and operating room

Required Qualifications

• Valid Radiology Technologist license in Wisconsin
• Minimum of 1 year of Radiology Technologist experience within the last year
• Experience in an Acute Care setting
• BLS certification
• ARRT certification

Skills & Experience

• Basic X-ray skills required
• Fluoroscopy experience preferred (approximately 3 cases per week)
• Ability to operate OR C-arm preferred (GS OCE certification preferred)
• Familiarity with facility protocols and willingness to ask questions
• EPIC charting system experience preferred
• Experience with GE and Canon/Fuji portable X-ray equipment

Patient Care & Environment

• Patient ratio typically 1:1
• Use of conventional PPE and N95 masks required
• No floating to other departments

Orientation & Support

• Orientation includes badge and login setup on day 1, followed by 2-3 days precepting with core techs
• Support available from department supervisor, other radiology techs, and receptionist (days only)
