Clinic RN - Cardiology

Location: Glenwood Springs, Colorado
Employment Type: Contract (13 weeks)
Shift: Monday - Friday, Days

Job Summary

Seeking a Clinic RN with cardiology experience to provide patient care and coordination in a heart and vascular clinic setting. No call or weekend shifts. Opportunity to work in a mountain location during Summer 2026.

Primary Responsibilities

• Triage and assess patient concerns
• Provide care coordination across cardiology services
• Assist with Exercise Stress Tests and Tilt Table Tests
• Perform EKGs and manage heart monitoring equipment
• Start IVs for diagnostic testing
• Educate patients on cardiac conditions, medications, and treatment plans
• Occasionally assist with patient rooming in clinic

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Colorado
• Associate of Science in Nursing or Associate Degree in Nursing
• Minimum 3 years of cardiology experience, including experience within the last year
• Experience in a clinic and ambulatory care setting
• BLS certification issued by the American Heart Association
• ACLS certification
• Experience with Epic electronic health record system

• Traveler’s permanent address must be at least 75 miles from the facility (Radius Rule)
• Must comply with Colorado CAPS registration requirements (may take up to two weeks to obtain)
• Accurate Social Security number and date of birth required for onboarding to avoid delays or suspension
