Description
Registered Nurse - Medical / Surgical
Location: Atlanta, Georgia
Unit: 32-bed adult/older adult medical-surgical unit
Shift: Night
Hours per week: 36
Contract length: 13 weeks
Job Details
- Patient population includes trauma patients requiring care with heparin drips and various acute medications.
- Nurse-to-patient ratio is 1:5.
- Use of specialty equipment such as gait belts, geriatric chairs, and physical therapy equipment.
- No Return to Office (RTO) required.
- Documentation includes loading all demographic information and a badge-appropriate photo.
- Electronic Medical Record system: EPIC.
Required Qualifications
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license.
- BLS and ACLS certification required.
- Must have documented medication and telemetry experience.
- Prior experience or training in Skilled Nursing, Rehabilitation, or NICHE is a plus.
Additional Notes
- This position involves working with adult and older adult populations in a medical-surgical setting with telemetry experience required.
- Prior travel experience is not specified as a requirement.
