Job Opportunity: ER Registered Nurse (RN)

Location: Globe, Arizona
Employment Type: Contract (13 weeks)
Weekly Hours: 36 hours per week, 12-hour shifts (9 AM - 9 PM) with required call shifts

Job Description

• Provide emergency room nursing care on a 36-hour weekly schedule.
• Required to take some 24-hour call shifts during the assignment.
• Experience with Meditech 6.0 EMR is preferred.
• Previous travel nursing experience is strongly preferred.

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Arizona.
• Minimum of 3 years of Emergency Department (ED) experience, including experience within the last year.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
• CPI (Crisis Prevention Intervention) certification.
• NIHSS (National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale) certification.
• Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN).

Additional Information

• Contract length: 13 weeks.
• No more than 3 days off (RTO) may be requested during the 13-week contract.
• Facility may cancel up to 3 shifts during the assignment; guaranteed hours do not apply.
• Travelers with a permanent address within 100 miles of the facility are not eligible.

Summary

This is a 13-week ER RN contract position requiring 36 hours per week on 12-hour day shifts with additional call responsibilities. Candidates must have current RN licensure, required certifications, and flu vaccination. Prior travel nursing experience and Meditech 6.0 EMR familiarity are preferred. The role includes specific scheduling and geographic restrictions.
