MRI Technologist - Traverse City, MI

Job Summary

• Responsible for patient safety and performing high-quality MRI studies.
• Ensures effective communication with radiologists and other customers.
• May train new technologists and/or Patient Coordinators.
• Duties include patient pre-screening for contraindications, aseptic injection technique, producing diagnostic images, ordering supplies, cleaning the unit, and assisting with patient transport preparation.

Required Qualifications

• ARRT certification in MRI (MR) required.
• High School Diploma or GED required; Associate’s Degree or equivalent experience preferred.
• Minimum of 1 year MRI experience in high-volume environments preferred.
• AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• Valid state driver’s license required, if applicable.
• COVID-19 vaccination required.
• Ability to work at multiple locations; local travel may be required.
