Medical Lab Scientist / Medical Lab Technician
Location: Glenwood Springs, Colorado
Employment Type: Contract
Contract Length: 20 weeks
Shift: Four 10-hour shifts, weekdays only (no weekends, no call)
Hours per Week: 40
Job Description
- Perform specimen collection and receipt for testing.
- Conduct chemical, microscopic, bacteriologic, and other medical laboratory tests.
- Operate manual and automated laboratory equipment to analyze specimens.
- Must have experience with microbiology and Meditech systems.
Required Qualifications
- Associate degree or Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
- Current Medical Technician or Medical Technologist certification by ASCP or AMT.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Medical Technologist or Medical Lab Technician, including experience within the last year.
- Experience in supervisory roles.
- Proficiency with MEDITECH laboratory information system.
