Description

Registered Nurse - Telemetry (Travel)

Location: Aurora, Colorado
Employment Type: Travel
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Hours per Week: 36 hours

Unit Information

Unit: Telemetry (CC4 Telemetry)
Number of Beds: 345
Recognized with 3-time Magnet Designation
Staff: Float pool of about 80
Patient Ratios: Approximately 1:5 (varies by unit and shift)
Equipment: Various medical equipment used
EMR System: Meditech / CPN
Patient Population: Large cardiac population with 2 telemetry floors and a progressive care unit (PCU) floor
Floating: Nurses float to all inpatient Med/Tele and Rehab units

Required Qualifications

Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Colorado
Minimum 1 year of telemetry experience within the last year
Acute care experience
Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
Certifications: ACLS, BLS
De-escalation skills in a healthcare setting

Preferred Qualifications

Strong telemetry experience
Chemotherapy certification (preferred for scheduling on Oncology unit)
