Job Opportunity: Occupational Therapist - Outpatient

Location: Plains, Montana
Employment Type: Travel/Contract

Job Details

• Specialty: Therapy/Rehabilitation
• Shift: Day shift, 4 days per week, 10 hours per day (8:00 AM – 6:30 PM)
• Total Hours per Week: 40

Required Qualifications

• Valid Occupational Therapist license in Montana
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross

Background and Compliance Requirements

• 7-year background check required within 1 year of start, including all name changes; updated annually
• EPLS/GSA/SAM and HHS/OIG checks required annually
• Facility-specific compliance checklist to be completed

Health and Safety Requirements

• Physical exam within 1 year of start (not required annually)
• N95 fit test within 12 months of start, updated annually; facility can accommodate PAPR if needed
• Tetanus/Diphtheria/Tdap vaccine within 10 years of start
• Negative TB test (2-step PPD, Q Gold, or TSpot) within 1 year of start; chest X-ray within 6 months if TB positive; TB test required annually
• Immunizations or proof of immunity (2 vaccines or positive titer) for:

  • Measles (Rubeola)
  • Mumps
  • Rubella
  • Varicella (Chicken Pox)
• Hepatitis B series, titer, or declination accepted
• Negative 9-panel drug screen within 30 days of start (instant drug screen acceptable; not required annually)
• Seasonal flu vaccination or declination required during flu season (October 1 – March 31)
