Registered Polysomnographic Technician - Night Shift
Location: Bozeman, Montana
Employment Type: Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Job Summary
- Perform all aspects of sleep disorders testing, including setup and monitoring of patients over 10-12 hour periods.
- Operate and troubleshoot sleep lab equipment independently during testing.
- Score and evaluate polysomnograms.
- Provide education and consultation to patients, physicians, and outreach groups regarding sleep disorders.
- Maintain and monitor sleep lab equipment.
- Create a calm, warm, and professional environment throughout the department.
Schedule
- 3 consecutive 12-hour night shifts per week (36 hours/week).
- May require working beyond 40 hours, including weekends and after-hours.
- On-call duties may be required.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of experience as a Polysomnographer, with experience within the last year.
- Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (BRPT) certification.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association.
