Description

Registered Polysomnographic Technician - Night Shift

Location: Bozeman, Montana
Employment Type: Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Summary

Perform all aspects of sleep disorders testing, including setup and monitoring of patients over 10-12 hour periods.
Operate and troubleshoot sleep lab equipment independently during testing.
Score and evaluate polysomnograms.
Provide education and consultation to patients, physicians, and outreach groups regarding sleep disorders.
Maintain and monitor sleep lab equipment.
Create a calm, warm, and professional environment throughout the department.

Schedule

3 consecutive 12-hour night shifts per week (36 hours/week).
May require working beyond 40 hours, including weekends and after-hours.
On-call duties may be required.

Required Qualifications

Minimum 1 year of experience as a Polysomnographer, with experience within the last year.
Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (BRPT) certification.
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association.
