Description

Surgical Tech (CVOR Tech) - Fargo, North Dakota

Contract Length

13 weeks

Required Qualifications

Valid CVOR Technologist license in North Dakota
Minimum 2 years of CVOR Technologist experience, including experience within the last year
BLS certification issued by the American Heart Association
Minimum 2 years of Cardiovascular Operating Room (Cardio OR) experience

Job Description

Perform surgical and operating room duties to assist surgeons and healthcare team members in providing effective surgical care
Primary patient populations: Cardiovascular, Vascular, Thoracic, occasional general surgery
Procedures focus on open heart, thoracic, some robotic, and vascular surgeries
May float to other operating rooms to cover when cardiovascular cases are slow

Work Schedule

8 or 10 hour day shifts (typically 10 hours)
May need to stay late as needed to assist with scheduled cases (considered extension of regular shift, not call back)
On-call 1 to 2 shifts per week and every 4th or 5th weekend

Additional Information

Clinicians must badge in and out at the facility
Scrub color provided: Ceil Blue
Candidates living within 60 miles of the facility are not eligible for travel assignment
Prior employment with this facility requires a minimum 6-month gap before reapplying
Manager will contact candidates directly for interviews; provide good interview availability upon submission
