Respiratory Therapist - Cardiopulmonary

Location: Sidney, Montana
Employment Type: Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Day Shift, 12 hours, 6 days on / 8 days off
Hours per Week: 36

Job Summary

• Provide respiratory treatments and testing for all age groups, including newborns.
• Perform outpatient testing such as Pulmonary Function Tests (PFTs), Stress Tests, and EKGs.
• Care for inpatients and emergency department patients.
• Assist with patient and family education on respiratory diseases and medications.
• Develop discharge plans to support successful patient outcomes.
• Work independently in a Critical Access Hospital setting.
• Collaborate effectively as part of the respiratory care team.

Required Qualifications

• Valid Registered Respiratory Therapist license in Montana
• Minimum of 2 years of Respiratory Therapist experience, including experience within the last year
• Current certifications in BLS, NRP, PALS, and ACLS
• Experience working with neonate patients
• Experience with Epic electronic health records system

Additional Information

• Schedule follows a 6 days on, 8 days off rotation.
• Position involves both inpatient and outpatient respiratory care responsibilities.
