Description
Job Opportunity: Emergency Room Registered Nurse (ER RN) - Travel/Contract
Location
- Easton, Maryland
Contract Details
- Length: 13 weeks
- Start Date: July 27, 2026
- Shift: Rotating Day/Mid shifts (Day: 07:00-19:30, Mid: 11:00-23:30)
- Schedule: 3x12 or 4x12 hour shifts accepted
- Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
- Holidays: Required as scheduled
- Floating: Required within Emergency Department specialty, including coverage at 4 other ED locations as needed
- On-Call: Not required
Work Environment
- Fast-paced, high volume general emergency department combining adult and pediatric patients
- Patient population ranges from pediatric through geriatric with a wide range of complex, multi-diagnoses
- Nurse-to-patient ratio typically 1:4, up to 1:5 with lower acuity patients
Required Qualifications
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Maryland
- Minimum 2 years of Emergency Department (ED) nursing experience, including experience within the last year
- Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
- Certifications:
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) issued by the American Heart Association
- Basic Life Support (BLS) issued by the American Heart Association
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) issued by the American Heart Association
- NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification
